Sharing Minds Forum — Community Capacity Building
Tandem and VMIAC are hosting a Forum next month, at the midway point of the Victorian Government Small Grants Program, ‘Improving the mental health and well-being of immigrant and refugee background communities by building capacity’. Representatives from thirteen projects will discuss their work and outcomes. VTMH is supporting this year-long program of work by conducting an evaluation and participating in the advisory group.

Cultural diversity and assessment: a resource for mental health practitioners is now available. This new resource is designed to assist mental health practitioners to focus on cultural aspects of mental health and well-being in assessment.
